South West Betara 1 Water Treatment

PT. Exatra served as engineering and procurement consultant. This project was to develop a package system for water treatment which consider the basis condition as per water analysis by PetroChina International jabung, South Wst Btara-1. The system package should be designed to provide clean water for the whole injection to be injected to the active wells in order to increasing the well production. The unit also capable operating with minimum flow rate of 5000 bwpd 24 hours/day and 7 days/week. The system consists of Raw Water Filter, Cartridge Filter and Iron Filter.

Raw Water Cartridge Filters consist of three units (186-F-330 A/B/C) with configuration of 3 x 50% (two filters on duty and one filter on standby) while Cartridge Filters consist of 2 (two) units with configuration of 2 x 100% (one filter on duty and one filter on standby).

Raw Water Cartridge Filters consist of 3 (three) units (186-F-330 A/B/C) with configuration of 3 x 50% (two filters on duty and one filter on standby) while Cartridge Filters consist of 2 (two) units with configuration of 2 x 100% (one filter on duty and one filter on standby). Pressure Differential Transmitter (PDT) on each unit will initiate an alarm when reaching the set pressure of 15 psi. The change over between standby and duty filter is done manually.

Iron Filters consist of 3 (three) units (186-F-360 A/B/C) with configuration of 3 x 50% (two filters on duty and one filter on standby). Pressure Differential Transmitter (PDT) on each unit will initiate an alarm when reaching the set pressure of 15 psi. The change over between standby and duty filter is done automatically. The higher pressure drop filter will have washing activity prior to standby unit.
